Important information for students registered for College for Kids summer camps.
Check In and Check Out
Students younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult to the check in location each day to sign in/out their student.
Where do I check in and check out my student?

When can I drop off and pick up my student?
- Morning camps 鈥 Sign in is 8:45-9 a.m. Sign out begins at noon. All students must be picked up by 12:15 p.m.
- Afternoon camp 鈥 Sign in is 12:45-1 p.m. Sign out begins at 4 p.m. All students must be picked up by 4:15 p.m.
Who can sign in my student?
- Anyone that you trust may sign in your student.
- Students younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult to the check in where they will be asked to sign in their student.
Who can sign out my student?
- We will only release your student to those you have authorized on the registration form.
- Students younger than 16 must be picked up by an adult from the check out where they will be asked to sign out their student.
Someone not on my authorized list needs to pick up my child. How do I notify you?
- Email Community.Education@llcc.edu or call 217-786-2432 and provide the first and last name of the student and the first and last name of the authorized adult.
My student needs to leave early. What is the procedure?
Email Community.Education@llcc.edu or call 217-786-2432 and provide the student name, pick up time, and authorized adult pick up. Camp staff will escort the student to the designated check in/out location to release the student to the authorized adult. Adults are not permitted to pick up their students from the camp classroom.
What should my student bring to camp each day?
Please send your student dressed appropriately with a water bottle and small snack.
- Culinary students should wear long pants and closed toe shoes and tie back long hair. Optional: bring your own apron. Disposable aprons are provided.
- Workforce Career Explorers should wear long pants and closed toe shoes.
- Gardening and Bee camps will spend time outdoors; dress appropriately.
What should my student not bring to camp/class each day?
Please do not send your student with medication, valuables or lunch.
What should I do if my student takes medication?
All medication should be brought in a labeled and sealed container. A signed permission slip is required before medication can be administered by camp staff.
What should I do if my student has allergies 鈥 food or other?
Please indicate if your student has any allergies on the registration form. Instructors will be notified of the allergy.
Where is the lost and found located?
The lost and found is located in the Trutter Center at check in/out.
Registration/Refunds/Cancellations
What is the registration process?
College for Kids now has a for summer camps. For step-by-step instructions on using the portal, see the "How to register for CFK camps" section below.
Do you have a waitlist?
Once capacity has been reached, a waitlist message will be displayed on each course and section. To be placed on the waitlist, add the section to your cart and check out. Note, you will not be charged the registration fee when added to the waitlist.
Is there an extended day/lunch option?
We do not currently provide an extended day or lunch option. Students registered for morning and afternoon camps must have an authorized adult pick them up or supervise them between camps.
What is the refund policy?
Cancellations submitted by email seven calendar days prior to camp start date are eligible for refund. Submit cancellations by emailing community.education@llcc.edu No refunds, partial refunds or make-up sessions are given for sessions not attended.

LLCC reserves the right to cancel, combine or divide offerings and/or change the instructor, time, date or place of offerings as necessary and to do so without incurring obligation.
How to register for CFK camps
Create your profile
- Use the left side menu to Sign In/Create New Profile.
- An adult must create their own adult profile first. If you plan to register a child, please select 鈥淵ES鈥 when asked 鈥淚s this an adult, parent, or guardian profile? (You鈥檒l create your child鈥檚 account in a later step).
- Enter all the required information.
Search for courses
- Once you have created your own profile and are signed in, you can start browsing for courses.
- College for Kids Summer Camps offerings are found under Community Education and organized by grade levels.
Select a course
- Once you have identified a course you are interested in, select the session to view its details then use the 鈥淎dd to Cart鈥 button to add the camp to your shopping cart.
Register someone else/add attendee
- The top section of your cart contains an attendee list.
- To add a child to your attendee list, select 鈥淩egister Someone Else鈥 to create their profile.
- To create your child鈥檚 profile, please select 鈥淣O鈥 when asked 鈥淚s this an adult, parent, or guardian profile?
Checkout
- In the shopping cart, remove your name from the courses. Use the 鈥淎dd Attendee鈥 and select a child to include them in your Attendee List section.
- Then use the 鈥淎dd Attendee鈥 drop downs for each course to choose the person to be registered in the course.
- Once you have all the courses in your cart and attendees chosen for each course, please remove any attendee from the Attendee List section who will not be registering.
Waitlists
- To be added to the waitlist for a section, select 鈥淎dd to Cart鈥, add the attendee to the course and checkout. You will not be charged for waitlisted classes at the time of checkout. Our office will contact you if a seat opens for registration.
