How did your LLCC experience help you to find your first position or career path?

My LLCC experience helped me build strong communication and networking skills. When I first started, I was a quiet student who mainly went to class and then went home. Getting involved with the Black Student Union, TRIO and the Computer Science Academy really helped me come out of my shell and become more social. LLCC also hosts many job fairs, which gave me valuable opportunities to network. Through those experiences, I was recently blessed with an internship with the Office of the Auditor General.

What’s your favorite or most unforgettable memory of being a Logger?

My favorite memory at LLCC was when the Black Student Union hosted a Chalk the Walk event for Sonya Massey. It was such an emotional experience for me, knowing that we were able to come together and put on an event in her honor after that tragic incident. I truly appreciated seeing so many people come out to show their support.

Describe your LLCC experience in five words.
